We were delighted to welcome our US Importers, Impex Bev, to the distillery last week. Sam and the team flew over on a whistlestop tour of the UK and spent a lovely day with us. Impex Bev do a sterling job for Penderyn in the US and we are now available in more than half the US states with 5 of our whiskies now available, and a further 3 becoming available later this year. Stephen Davies, Penderyn’s Chief Exec, did a brand presentation and we have a lovely lunch at the Ty Newydd Hotel, which is just down the road from the distillery.
The team were then shown around the distillery and warehouse, and had an ‘extended’ (!) tasting session in our bar. It was great to see them and we look forward to developing the partnership with Impex Bev leading to even greater success in the US in the future.
