It’s the awards season for whiskies and, after picking up a Gold for our Penderyn Sherrywood at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition we have now had 3 commendations from the Ultimate Spirits Challenge Awards. Each of the 3 whiskies were branded as ‘Very Good – Strong Recommendation’ with Madeira and Legend receiving scores of 88/100 and Sherrywood getting 85/100.
Ultimate Spirits Challenge’s mission is to ‘…establish a new and higher standard of evaluation for spirits and wine that provides accurate, meaningful and useful results in recognizing and promoting the quality of beverage alcohol products. It accomplishes this by the integrity of its people and approach, its innovative and exacting methodology, and through the credibility of its results.’
